e15

Germany (1995)

e15 is a premium German furniture brand celebrated for its progressive design, exceptional craftsmanship, and sustainable production. Founded in 1995 by architect Philipp Mainzer and now led alongside designer Farah Ebrahimi, e15 merges architecture, design, and art into a singular, enduring vision.

Named after its original London postcode, e15 gained recognition with its radical, minimalist furniture in solid wood — most notably the BIGFOOT™ table and BACKENZAHN™ stool — hallmarks of a new era in contemporary furniture design. The brand champions honest materials, mono-material construction, and natural finishes, often using sustainably sourced oak and other high-quality materials like marble, leather, and metal.

With a Frankfurt-based team and a network of trusted European craftsmen, e15 ensures regional production, reducing environmental impact while maintaining exceptional quality. Their philosophy embraces timeless design, circular economy principles, and authenticity — every piece is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of origin.

e15 collaborates with leading architects and designers including David Chipperfield, Stefan Diez, and David Thulstrup, and reissues modernist classics by Ferdinand Kramer and Richard Herre. Their pieces are featured in museum collections and have earned international design accolades.

Through its main collection and the artisanal E15 SELECTED line, the brand continues to set a global standard in contemporary, sustainable furniture design for both residential and commercial spaces.
