Kvadrat Uniform Mélange Fabric

Uniform Mélange is a knitted uphol­stery textile designed by Kvadrat Febrik’s in-house studio, offer­ing a smooth surface, excel­lent stretch, and a rich, tactile expres­sion. Soft and comfort­able to the touch, the textile features a natural, dry handle and a refined mélange appearance.

The construc­tion of Uniform Mélange combines a poly­ester filling with two knitted layers predom­i­nantly made from wool. This creates a volu­mi­nous, padded char­ac­ter while enhanc­ing dura­bil­ity and flexibility.

Thanks to its knitted struc­ture, Uniform Mélange provides multi­di­rec­tional stretch, making it ideal for uphol­ster­ing organic shapes and curved forms with minimal seams. The textile conforms effort­lessly to complex surfaces, ensur­ing a tailored, seamless finish.

Each color­way blends two differ­ently colored yarns to produce a subtle, sophis­ti­cated mélange effect. The exten­sive palette includes a broad range of neutrals, along­side classic reds, blues, greens, and vibrant combi­na­tions such as rich red or electric blue.

To encour­age cohe­sive design possi­bil­i­ties, select wool yarns from Uniform Mélange are shared across other Kvadrat Febrik textiles, making it easy to mix, match, and layer color and texture within interior spaces.
