More details here…

Designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara, Haku is a coated textile that balances durability with a refined, timeless aesthetic. Waterproof, wipeable, and highly resistant to wear, it’s ideally suited for high-traffic interiors — from hospitality to healthcare environments.

Its soft, tactile surface is achieved through a unique construction: a silicone-coated polyurethane layer applied to an ultra-thin fabric base. This innovative approach creates a subtle, organic grain and a supple hand — setting Haku apart from conventional coated textiles.

Available in 28 versatile shades, Haku’s palette draws inspiration from Manyōshū, Japan’s oldest anthology of poetry. These tones — ranging from serene neutrals to vivid accents — reflect traditional Japanese dyeing techniques and the nuanced beauty of seasonal change. Yanagihara notes: People enjoy the colours on the front and back of each kimono, and the subtle shifts when fabric becomes translucent in light.” Haku captures that same quiet complexity.

Beyond aesthetics and performance, Haku stands out for its sustainable profile. It is free from PVC, PFCs, DMFs, and Siloxanes, and meets REACH and California Proposition 65 standards — offering a safer, more responsible choice for contemporary interiors.
