More details here…

The Houdini Side Chair from e15, designed by Stefan Diez, showcases a refined yet innovative construction, available in oak veneer and a range of striking stained lacquer colors, including Cream, Toffee, Mint, Beige Red, Pure Orange, Sulfur Yellow, Amazona Green, Silk Grey, Traffic Grey, Jet Black, and Neon Red.

Its distinctive seat, designed with a subtle backward cant, enhances ergonomic comfort. The Houdini family’s unique silhouette is shaped by a specialized production technique originally used in model airplane construction. This labor-intensive process involves hand-stretching precision-cut, 4mm-thick oak-veneered plywood bands around a milled solid ring core, with each component meticulously attached using glue — completely free of nails or screws. This approach results in a seamless, sculptural form that brings an unprecedented lightness and fluidity to wooden chair design.

For additional comfort, the Houdini Side Chair is available with an optional seat cushion, making it an elegant yet functional seating solution for various interiors.
