David Chipperfield

David Chip­per­field is a renowned British archi­tect cele­brated for his refined, modernist approach and numer­ous inter­na­tional acco­lades. He founded David Chip­per­field Archi­tects in 1985, estab­lish­ing offices in London, Berlin, Milan, and Shang­hai. His notable projects include the acclaimed recon­struc­tion of the Neues Museum in Berlin, which reopened in 2009.

Among his many honors, Chip­per­field has received the Hein­rich Tessenow Gold Medal, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal for Archi­tec­ture, and was appointed Comman­der of the Order of the British Empire in 2004. Beyond archi­tec­ture, he collab­o­rates with esteemed manu­fac­tur­ers such as e15, Alessi, Artemide, Fontana Arte, and Zumto­bel, bring­ing his precise and thought­ful design philos­o­phy to furni­ture, light­ing, and industrial design.
