Originally created for the café of the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin — an architectural landmark by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe — GALERIE echoes the striking purity of the building’s design. Crafted from solid oak, it is available in an oiled finish or black lacquered, making it a sophisticated choice for both residential and commercial spaces.

David Chipperfield is a renowned British architect celebrated for his refined, modernist approach and numerous international accolades. He founded David Chipperfield Architects in 1985, establishing offices in London, Berlin, Milan, and Shanghai. His notable projects include the acclaimed reconstruction of the Neues Museum in Berlin, which reopened in 2009.
Among his many honors, Chipperfield has received the Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal for Architecture, and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2004.
