More details here…

Sone is a unicoloured wool upholstery textile defined by subtle graphic patterning and intersecting linear textures. Designed in collaboration with Ronan Bouroullec, it forms part of a collection with Alle and Tero Outdoor, translating the essence of Bouroullec’s iconic drawings into woven form.

The textile’s surface is animated by multidirectional lines that shift across its structure, creating areas of contrast and depth. These variations in direction bring out a pronounced tactility — echoing the movement, zoning, and rhythm found in Bouroullec’s artwork.

The journey that led us to Sone, Tero Outdoor, and Alle started with a simple question,” says Bouroullec. How can we translate the essence of the drawings into textiles?”

Sone’s visual language also draws inspiration from aerial landscapes, resembling abstract fields viewed from above. This grounded perspective is mirrored in a carefully curated palette that blends vivid greens and yellows with softer brick tones and bright neutrals — all hues rooted in Bouroullec’s celebrated drawings.

Highly versatile, Sone is suitable for a broad range of residential and commercial applications, offering a refined, architectural quality through its subtle structure and contemporary color expression.
