More details here…

Fiord 2 is a tactile woolen upholstery textile defined by a delicate three-dimensional expression. Designed by Norwegian designer Tone Barnung and reimagined in a renewed palette by Louise Sigvardt, it brings subtle depth and quiet sophistication to a wide range of interiors.

The textile’s construction pairs a mélange yarn with a unicolored yarn, resulting in a refined dotted pattern that appears like pearl-like highlights scattered across the surface. This shimmering detail draws inspiration from moonlight glinting on the waters of a Norwegian fjord — serene, natural, and ever-changing.

Woven from 92% new worsted wool and 8% nylon, Fiord 2 offers both durability and a soft, comfortable touch. Its high-performance qualities make it suitable for demanding contract environments while maintaining a warm, inviting presence in private settings.

Available in 39 colorways, the palette builds on the original design’s Nordic roots, exploring fresh nuances that range from subtle neutrals to saturated tones. Each hue has been carefully selected to enhance the textile’s characteristic interplay of light, texture, and color.

Elegant yet understated, Fiord 2 brings a poetic layer of tactility and depth to any piece of furniture — perfect for interiors seeking both performance and quiet visual interest.
