More details here…

The Fariba Sideboard by Philipp Mainzer for e15 is a testament to the art of precision craftsmanship, embodying both sculptural beauty and functional sophistication. Designed in 2002, this iconic piece is part of an elegant series of storage solutions that celebrate the natural grandeur of solid wood. Through meticulous attention to the wood’s organic grain and striations, Fariba transforms into more than just a sideboard — it becomes a focal point of refined interior design.

Expertly crafted from ¾‑inch thick solid European oak or walnut, Fariba is engineered for both stability and seamless aesthetics. Its two or three front panel doors conceal a precisely structured storage system, featuring thoughtfully arranged compartments. Behind these sleek, handle-free doors, milled grooves and hidden aluminum strips provide unwavering support, eliminating the need for visible framing while maintaining a flawless façade. Inside, a combination of spacious and compact storage sections — each enhanced with a shelf — ensures both utility and elegance.

Complementing the richness of its wood composition, the sideboard is elevated by a minimalist rectilinear base frame in ¾‑inch squared tubular brushed stainless steel, masterfully mitered at 45-degree angles to create a refined geometric presence.

Available in two sizes and a choice of northern European oiled oak or walnut, the Fariba Sideboard is a timeless expression of modern luxury — effortlessly blending form, function, and enduring craftsmanship.
