More details here…

The Mate Shelf, a rigorous yet graceful composition for e15 furniture, functions as a quiet masterclass in the poetry of joinery. It consists of six solid wood shelves that intersect with vertical planks through the use of traditional dovetails — a detail that is as much a nod to heritage craftsmanship as it is a structural necessity. The result is a silhouette that appears remarkably light, almost as if it were holding its breath against the wall, yet it possesses the stubborn permanence of a well-built heirloom.

While its appearance may suggest a gravity-defying feat, the Mate Shelf is grounded by a clever bit of hidden engineering: a discreet inset eyelet on the reverse side that ensures a secure, seamless mounting. It is a piece designed for the intimate topographies of small spaces, offering a sophisticated stage for a personal library or a collection of curated objects. Rendered in oiled solid oak and available for quick ship, it serves as an enduring testament to the idea that the most profound design is often the most understated.
