Jasper Morrison is a British designer renowned for his refined, understated approach to everyday objects. Born in London in 1959, Morrison studied at Kingston Polytechnic and The Royal College of Art before establishing his studio, where he developed a philosophy of Super Normal” design — championing functionality, simplicity, and timelessness.

Among his many collaborations with leading global brands, Morrison has worked extensively with Alessi, bringing his signature minimalist aesthetic to the world of kitchen accessories. His Pépé le Moko Pepper Mill is a perfect example of his design ethos, offering an elegant, ergonomic form that enhances the act of seasoning. Equally striking is his Socrates Corkscrew, a clever and sculptural tool that embodies both precision and playfulness.

With a career spanning furniture, lighting, tableware, and even books on design, Morrison remains one of the most influential figures in contemporary product design. His work for Alessi exemplifies his ability to create objects that are both highly functional and effortlessly beautiful — pieces that integrate seamlessly into daily life.
