Åsa Pärson

Åsa Pärson is a Swedish textile designer and artist known for her reduc­tive, archi­tec­tural approach to textile design. Educated at the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås and the Univer­sity College of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stock­holm, she focuses on distill­ing design to its essen­tial elements, allow­ing form, struc­ture, and mate­r­ial to speak with clarity.

Her work is defined by a clean, simple, and time­less aesthetic, often drawing inspi­ra­tion from the preci­sion and rhythm of archi­tec­ture. Through rigor­ous crafts­man­ship and a deep under­stand­ing of woven struc­tures, Pärson creates textiles that are both func­tional and quietly expres­sive — refined surfaces that elevate the spaces they inhabit.
