Kvadrat Maple Fabric

Maple is a tactile, shim­mer­ing uphol­stery textile designed by Åsa Pärson. Woven with chenille yarn and finished with an aero treat­ment, it offers an excep­tion­ally soft touch and a casual, inviting expression.

Composed of 81% viscose, 15% linen, and 4% poly­ester, Maple combines natural and manmade fibers to create a textile with depth, sheen, and subtle texture. Its construc­tion features three tone-in-tone yarns, which blend harmo­niously to deliver a multi­di­men­sional surface that shifts gently with light and move­ment. The viscose content enhances the textile’s signa­ture luster, giving it a refined, almost liquid quality.

The soft pile of Maple reveals the under­ly­ing weave, intro­duc­ing a quiet rhythm to its appear­ance. Slight irreg­u­lar­i­ties — such as visible fibers or occa­sional flecks of color — contribute to its relaxed, organic char­ac­ter, lending each piece a sense of individuality.
