Maria Pergay — Complete Works 1957 – 2010

Maria Pergay’s retro­spec­tive, ​“Complete Works 1957 – 2010,” is the sole author­i­ta­tive refer­ence cata­logue, compiled with Pergay’s own collab­o­ra­tion, tracing over fifty years of creation. It’s packed with detailed descrip­tions of over 300 designs, many accom­pa­nied by vintage and contem­po­rary photographs that have never before seen the light of day. From the silver objects she first showed in 1957 to her cele­brated Place des Vosges shop in 1960, and the moment her steel furni­ture exploded onto the scene at Galerie Maison Jardin in ​’68, this is the defin­i­tive record of a singu­lar vision. Now in her eight­ies, after a major 2006 New York show, she contin­ues to create for an ever-growing, elite audi­ence.
